Centred around Bach’s Solo Partita No 3, it explores the overall legacy of Bach’s music for solo violin, including in music by Ysaÿe, Tárrega, Kreisler - and Albéniz, in the form of the composer's Asturias (Leyenda) arranged for violin, and which the Spanish violinist plays in the beautifully shot film below.
